JAN BOHUMIL POSPISIL, Born Prague 1898 -1968 Sweden, signed and dated 1948, oil on canvas, titled verso - 'Hamn i Göteborg' - harbour in Gothenburg, original frame.

Posposil was a Swedish painter born on Prague and studied art there.  He moved to Sweden in 1946 and settled in Stockholm to live and work.
