The Maison Colin was a prestigious art foundry based at 29 Rue Sévigné in Paris since 1843. It took part in many World Fairs, including Chicago in 1893. They were a great success at the 1900 World Fair and won a Grand Prize. The Maison worked with many famous artists like Carrier Belleuse, Marioton, Rozet. They changed ownership several times and around 1906-1907 the Maison was controlled by Jollet & Cie without changing its name, remaining "Former Maison Colin" until 1911 when Jollet decided to use his own name only.
