Stig Erland Gyllander, born 17.02.1903 in Arboga, died 1989, he was a Swedish painter and graphic artist.
He studied decorative painting at the Higher Art-Industrial School in Stockholm in 1927, he was awarded the school's Travel Scholarship to Germany and Italy. He participated in the State's Art Council buying exhibition at the Liljevalchs Art Gallery in 1939. He also did a number of Solo Exhibitions around Sweden.
Gyllander painted mainly landscapes, still lives and portraits as well as a few decorative works in private homes. He also did posters and advertising drawings and illustrated a number of children's books.
