Elsa Hanson-Winnberg, born 29.06.1913 in Malmö, died 13.05.1987 in Gothenburg. 

She studied at Slöjdföreningen and at Valand, she undertook study trips to France and Holland.  She was married to the artist Ake Winnberg between 1936 and 1948.  She took part in the 'God Konst' - Good Art - exhibition in Gothenburg in 1943 and in several exhibitions at the Gothenburg art Gallery during the 1950's.

She painted landscapes, still lives and portraits of children, with an unsentimental eye and rich colouring.
