Carl Kaldén, born 09.11.1877 in Flädie, Malmöhus county, died 1963 in Stockholm.

1900 - studies at Tekniska skolan - Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm.

1917 - and onwards he took part in exhibitions organised by Sveriges Allmänna Konstförening - Sweden's General Art Association . 

He became a teacher at Statens Hantverksinstitut (SHI) in Stockholm.

As an artist he considered himself an autodidact, and did several solo exhibitions including at Gummeson's Art Gallery , Konstnärshuset - The Artists House, and at Ciacellis Art Gallery.

His works are generally of landscapes from the Stockholm area and city views of the Stockholm Old Town, in either oil or pastel.
