Bruno Karlsson, born 09.08.1927 in Nyhammar, Grangärde, Kopparbergs County, a Swedish painter, graphic artist - drawing and etching, and teaches drawing.

Karlsson started as an autodidact with painting and drawing, later studying at the Konstfack School 1947-48 and then at the Teckningslärarinstitutet 1956-1960.

He has shown in exhibitions in Norway, Finland, Poland, Austria, France, England and the U.S.A., as well as Swedish exhibitions in Dalarnas Museum and at Hässelby Slott.

His commissions include the Deans of Stockholm University and portraits for the Swedish Bar Association.  His works include portraits and landscapes from the Grangärde, Kiruna and Ludvika areas in oils, drawing, acrylic, copperplate engraving and lithography.  He also teaches drawing.
